If you’re looking for Whataburger keto and low carb meals, we have prepared a full list of keto diet options below. You can choose from several different burgers (without the bun, of course), their breakfast menu and two different, keto friendly salads. What we like about Whataburger the most is how straightforward their options are.
One of the most impressive things about their website is that you can easily look up, for example, the amount of carbs in a Whataburger sans the bun!
We don’t really remember the last time we’ve reviewed a restaurant and such an option was possible. For that, Whataburger gets major bonus points from us. For more keto options on the go, read our full keto fast food guide.
Can I find low carb meals at Whataburger?
Most of Whataburger low carb items are high in protein, but not necessarily high in fats. While you need fats to produce ketones, protein will keep you full for longer! Choose from chicken sandwiches, a chicken fajita taco (we didn’t include it in our list below – without the wrap, it’s the exact same thing as the grilled chicken melt) and chicken salad are all healthy keto options.
If you want to up your fats for a perfect low carb keto ratio, simply ask for an extra slice of cheese or a packet or two of mayonnaise. Remember that low carb fast food restaurant meals are almost always considered “dirty keto“, so even if you order low carb it may not be the healthiest thing possible.
